Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amber Carwile. I am a young Christian woman who would do almost anything for the people I love. I love hanging out with friends and family. I also love to have fun. By having fun, I mean just sitting down with friends; laughing, playing games...simply hanging out (good, clean fun). I love to smile and laugh, and I love to make others smile and laugh. I am an only child. However, I have two best friends who are more like sisters than friends. We have been through so much together, and they have always been there for me. I hope that never changes. Their names are Summer and Katie.

I am also a SURVIVOR of childhood sexual abuse. I would do almost anything to protect innocent children from the pain I went through. I am very active in right to life and abuse awareness causes. I am currently attending school to get my degree in art (preferably web-design). My main dreams are to work with children and with abuse victims (victims of domestic violence, rape, etc...). Therefore, I plan on using my degree in art to help do webpages, and also art therapy for abuse prevention centers. I'm also currently trying to find a way to start a program in my area for adult survivors of sexual abuse and rape: a place to get together and talk and share.

I have been diagnosed with clinical depression and bi-polar disorder. I have recently been put into the hospital for a nervous breakdown and suicidal thoughts. Even though I'm doing better and I'm learning to trust in the Lord more, some days are better than others. I still get depressed, but with the support of my family and friends, and with the main support of God, I am doing so great. I'm enjoying life again, and I'm ready to start helping others. I hope to continue to get happier and stronger in my Christian faith each and every day. However, I still need constant prayers of my family and friends.
