Books: Tim O'Brien - The Things They Carried, Raymond Carver, Bukowski, mix in a little philosophy by kant, Dostoevsky, a little Thoreau rhetoric once in a great while, and Kierkegaard

Movies: Harlan County USA, Cinema Paradiso (a sentimental favorite), The Yards, Little Odessa, Scorsese films, Gus Van Sant's Elephant, Gerry and a couple of others - films that tend to step outside the mainstream, even if they fail miserable tend to be much more interesting to me than a McG music video, although I thought 'We Are Marshall' was a good attempt I wish someone would have asked Matthew Mcconaughey to stop moving his hands, rubbing his lips with his fingers and pointing with his thumb - he looked more like GEORGE BUSH.

Damon Zwicker graduated USC School of Cinema-Television with a BA in Film Production in 1997. Zwicker quickly went to work as an assistant to feature film director James Gray on the MIramax produced film 'The Yards'. Taking everything Gray had graciously shared about the film making process Zwicker set out to write, produce and direct his own short film 'Lost adn Found' shot on 16 mm. From there Zwicker returned to the work force working as an assistant to Mike Fleiss at 'Next Entertainment'. Fleiss was producing numerous shows and shepherded Zwicker into a producing position on the NBC show 'Spy TV'. With the reality scene heating up, Zwicker stayed with 'Spy TV' for the two season run. He then followed Producers Scott Hallock and Kevin Healey who created Hallock Healey Entertainment. Zwicker produced various shows for Hallock Healey Entertainment who ultimately created 'Scare Tactics' for 'The Sci-Fi Channel'. Zwicker moved to a directing roll, creating three seasons of B-movies scenes were unsuspecting people would become stars in their own thriller. Hallock Healey kept Zwicker busy with their NBC pilot '$25 Million Dollar Hoax' produced in conjunction with Reveille. Reveille was then producing season 3 of 'Nashville Star' on the 'USA Network'. Zwicker moved to 'Nashville Star', producing and directing the reality portions of the show for season 3. He then directed NBC's 'Meet Mister Mom' before returning for season 4 of 'Nashville Star'.
