Oct 12, 2008 - I know it isn't really the point, but I guess someone noticed that they are using diesel jugs for the water. Yellow=Diesel, Red=Gasoline, Lt. Blue=Water, White=Alcohol, Dk. Blue=Kerosene.
mandalikewhoa Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - the yellow container is actually a "jerry can," which is what most africans use when they carry water, cooking oil, or other liquids.
Secretservicedentist Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Wow. I think its just great that Jennifer Connelly is Jennifer Connelly. Jennifer Connelly. P.S. Does anyone know what this video was about? My guess is Jennifer Connelly's struggles. Oh, yeah and does anyone know what this charity spends on overhead? That's what they pay CEO's and middle management! It's very charitable!
karleenmom Says:

ango67 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - good way of getting this point over and i am in no way trying to undermine the good work being done but i just fail to see why in 2008 African goverments are still allowed to get away without providing the basic human right of safe clean drinking water for there people why these government should face the UN and asked why they can afford to buy Chinese arms but leave there people without water its time the world began to ask these questions.
ango67 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - great vid and a good way of getting this point across and i am in no way trying to undermine this charity but it just angers me that why in 2008 cant african government provide the basic human right of safe clean drinking water for its people why arnt these goverments brought before the int community and asked why they can but arms but cant provide a ground pump its time the world started to ask these questions africa needs to look to its self to begin to solve its problems.
BianceLR Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Cause that's Africa. Simple as that. Africa is polar to North America, North America is a different planet. With things like "Antibacterial Wet Ones" packages. Africa isn't like that, well at-least not the majority.
buragwitbultokachi Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - i understand your frustration. coming from a developing country, i can say misappropriation of funds is commong in poor countries where the people who manage to get in power are more occupied in getting their hands full than giving back to the nation. what i'm saying is, when you never had enough, you'll try to get as much as you can whenever the chance arises.
elwalvador Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Why are most African countires so poor and lacking even the basic modern technologies?

Oct 12, 2008 - She's always so precious, by the way, did u see Postuma necat? can u recognize her in that video? is really or is a fake? from what movie (the old one)?
Isaura21s Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - everybody can be helped if the right policy is chosen. There is no need to be selective. There is no need that anyone starves from hunger or thirst. Also, the rich countries should help the poor countries also, not just themselves.
bibliochaos Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - because greedy mother fuckers fucked them over
stuntsnyc Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - i used to live in NYC, and let me tell you, that water she was serving her kids looked better than the water that came out of the tap.
mintyfreshgirl Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Perhaps they are poor in part because they lack the very basics. It would be hard to succeed at work when you kept getting sick from drinking bad water.
AttieSherman Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - that is way too cool.. wowwhat a powerful message!!
RubberSoul91 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - do you think that in africa they use color coordination? are you that stupid?
chickpead1234 Says:
Oct 12, 2008 - Should we be concerned about privatization of water at home? Or the lack of standards in most area as far as drinking water which many people say tastes "too dirty" to drink?
