Jul 26, 2008 - Hi Tyler,Sunny Day Real Estate just sounded like more just a little too accessible so called alternative stuff like sort of cute and nice. Texas is the Reason was cool though. Something seemed authentic about it and more overtly personal from what little I saw. This is based on what little I saw.So EMO is definitely not gothy at all.I just miss the Birthday Party, Lydia Lunch, Virgin Prunes, Christian Death (first album only), Factrix, and Minimal Man. Dark darkness.
