Aug 20, 2008 - I guess because I came up in the real house era..? This doesn't quite have the right beat, tempo, or vibe. Also, deep house almost always has some kind of vocal element and is generally very soulful or even jazzy at a times. Metro Area's sound is very modern, and sort of cops an 80's style electro thing (think Yaz, Laidback), which is very popular again these days. I hope I don't sound like some crazy music snob!
