Jul 26, 2008 - Ebid, iOffer, Craigslist, OOdle are all better than Ebay. Moneybookers and Google Checkout are better than Paypal when comes to leveled playing field for both sellers and buyers. Avoid Paypal like a plague if you are a seller!!! Selling using Paypal, 50/50 you will loose everything!

Jul 26, 2008 - I'm a casual seller on Ebay but since they brought Paypal out it's a joke .If you are under 100 feedback or selling high ticket items, you are forced to offer Paypal, they will cancel the listing if you put US postal money order only . Because on $ 1,300.00 they clip you for $100.00 in inflated final value fees and Paypal fees .I'm a former casual seller on Ebay but also i'm a former heavey buyer.They can take there rip off scheme and 21 day hold on funds and shove it up there crooked ass.

Jul 26, 2008 - Thanks, I will consider, but eBay still have the grip on the market, until Google comes up with it's own auction site, people will still using eBay, even though eBid and iOffer are better in my opinion, that's why I think Geeewhiz is an important site for the sellers.

Jul 26, 2008 - Paypal is the real enemy. Ebay charges too much for FVF and Listing Fees. And it sucks you cant put Negatives anymore. I have no problem with ebay only there FVF charges. Paypal is the enemy for inviteing themselves to your account for chargebacks that fraud buyers do to get there money back.

Jul 26, 2008 - Capp, I did read auction bytes and do you know what I heard?Rbay now wants to send someone over to the house prior to selling to make sure that after an item is sent out and the buyer does the chargeback and sends the item to paypal,It can be resold for top dollar direcly from paypal without any middle man to maximize ebays profits.
