Sep 4, 2008 - It's like Alexis enjoys messing with her even though she knows Krysle can kick the crap out of her. I never got that.I guess Alexis likes getting beat down.

jiggarypokery Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - lmao! i luv it! you cant beat a good cat fight between women. LOL @ the old 'ripping of the clothes' Why dont they have shows on like this now? we dont want to watch boring shitty so called 'realism' like Coronation street and Eastenders. We want shows which can provide Escapism and entertainment! like this!

InfoEd Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - He died of AIDS. He was one of the first actors who was upfront and honest that he had it.

InfoEd Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Season 2. Episode: "The Baby." Season Three had the catfight in the Lily Pond.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Was he (Keenan) gay like Rock Hudson or did he contract it thru needles? (Sorry, str8's get Aids, too, don't mean to assume only gays got it. Of course, it was the 80's and Aids was starting to gain fame then.)"Dynasty" was the best.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - When the stunt doubles were in use, they should have had a pulled back shot, to make it blend smoother. Otherwise, it's so obvious and hilarious. "Dynasty" was awesome.

kluvr4ever Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - this is who i am named after the lady in the show named alexis!! except i am nice

dennisvugts Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - The actor who played Tony, died mis 80's of Aids.

cpw4ever Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - This catfight is the best of the Dynasty collection. The lilypond one is probably the most memorable but they kick the s**t out of each other in this one much like when Krystle fought Rita.

mikein1971 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - When Alexis first hits the couch you can tell she is really caught "off guard" and hear her let out an accidental pussy-fart!

InfoEd Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Keenan was gay. At the time, many actors who had contracted the disease went to their grave denying it and obituaries listed that they died of other causes. Keenan was open both that he was gay and that he had AIDS.

Sep 4, 2008 - Obviously neither of these women really need 'Blake' lol.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - My book entitled, DYNASTY:The Biography Of The Carringtons, states about this scene: "Krystle storms Alexis' art studio with evidence in hand. Their confrontation nearly destroyed the interior of the studio."True, true, true.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Also, in a later episode of "Dynasty", Alexis tells this man visiting her in her art studio that Kyrstle went in her studio and went mad and destroyed everything on purpose. She was making Krystle out to be a psycho bitch and not engaging in a fight with her. Of course, Alexis' lies always caught up with her.

bluecanvas2 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - That scene was really childish - even for a soap opera. But now I understand why Dynasty was so popular.

bull705 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - You'd have the original Sammy Jo playing her older relative Krystle!

jiggarypokery Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - I just LOVE the music in this scene, its just so camp/over the top for a bitch fight and i think its brilliant. Do you think Linda Evans REALLY catches Joan Collins of guard when she throws her on to the settee? it just looked so real. I love Crystal the 'working class girl at heart' beating the upper class Alexis. I just LOVE this scene lol.

jiggarypokery Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Ah sorry am gonna have to leave a further comment.. Joan Collins is naturally brilliant, but look at Linda Evans while they are fighting.. the hate and anger Crystal shows for Alexis, it just looks so convincing.. am sure poor Joan must have ended up with and suffered a few bumps and bruises after this scene and other like it lol. I was only just born when this episode was aired, i sure i wish i was the age i am now and got to watch it and appreiciate it at the actual time it was aired.

jiggarypokery Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - I can actually well imagine that, love to read or hear more about it. I might actually purchase the book you mentioned.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - jiggarypokery, The book I mentioned may very well be out of print by now. But, who knows!! There may be a copy or two floating around out there.Linda Evans and Joan Collins used stunt doubles and in some scenes it is so obvious. I strongly doubt that it is Collins going over the sofa. Evans loved doing her own stunts only when she was allowed. Even tho the actresses did do a lot of their own roughing it up, they did still got a little hurt."Dynasty" was the best.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - "Dynasty" originally aired on ABC from 1981 to 1989. It was cancelled in 1989."Dynasty" aired on F/X from the early to late 90's."Dynasty" also aired on the Soap Network."Dynasty" is being released on DVD for the more hardcore fans such as myself. My super favorite scene is the Moldavian Royal Wedding Massacre (Watch it here on YouTube). My super unfavorite is the aftermath of that. It truly was a "WHAT THE?!!" moment. I guess I was more forgiving than the rest of the audiences.

greekcreek Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - When Tony said,"She really loves to get out there and shoot.", Krystle realized that that was the final clue to the other clues Alexis let slip out. Earlier Alexis had said to Krystle,"Fallon giving Blake what you are unable to give him (baby). You must feel very left out...absolutely shattered." Then she walks away leaving Krystle to mourn for her loss.Another time Alexis told Krystle that she shares a bond with Blake that she can never have, the bond of their children. Alexis said too much.

homeric9 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Stunt doubles are very obvious in the studio clip. Linda and Joan actually did a series of action clips that were filmed..I have a pic of Joan actually grabbing the vase first smashed. The lillypond was a story..Joan actually did most of it with the exception of the fall into the pond.

MercuryX Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Anything that Krystle did to Alexis in the catfights couldnt stack up to what Alexis did to her, which was to cause her to miscarry her child. That was the ultimate "one up" that Krystle just couldnt top. Alexis was definately a master manipulator and all Krystle COULD do is fight.

InfoEd Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - The music is just so Aaron Spelling. It sounds as though it's Charlie's Angels.
