Jul 26, 2008 - OMG! I can't watch this because we're going to watch it in my school's film club this month! But that's awesome that you're making this available!
zeometry Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - musical recommendation: Richard Eindhorn's Voices of light. He wrote the musical score in 1999 specifically for this film. The music is absolutely beautiful and bring this brilliant film to an entire new level.

Jul 26, 2008 - if you think is good, you should see his other film, Ordet (The Word)
cubanbach Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - The greatest performance by any actor ever put on film. Falconetti's Joan of Arc is artistry for the ages!

Jul 26, 2008 - There is no way to spoil this film. I saw it a few years ago where the S.F. Symphony and a chorus performed a specially written score. They could have been playing and singing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm," it didn't matter. No wonder Rene Falconetti's performance is generally regarded as the finest on film.
RoseDincht Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - This has to be the greatest movie ever created in my opinion. It's MUCH better than Citizen Kane.
teeckard Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Please, please don't anybody add their own soundtrack to this! Leave it as is!
Shirro384 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I just viewed the film today. I must agree wholeheartedly with your comment.
RoseDincht Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I'm glad that you do. Honestly, this movie struck me on a much more personal and emotional level then Citizen Kane did.
MadCapAithne Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It doesn't need subtitles. If you understand it with your heart you know what is being said.
sextetband Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Intertitles generally aren't the most heartfelt thing in the world and are there to convey information, so yeah, subtitles might not be necesary, but they serve a function and would be nice. It's nothing to swear about though, rent the DVD.
piper42 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I could not understand what was being said but I have been doing a history day project over joan and this seems to be very accurate to what really happened to her. I love this film.
