Jul 26, 2008 - On the Dell laptop network card issue, there's a flaky Internal NIC Configuration thing in the control panel with a check box that turns the internal NIC off when it's running on battery power to preserve battery life. Uncheck that stupid thing so the internal NIC is always getting power.
