I don't think Plagueis could really create life, it was just the Chancellor playing mind games with Anakin because he was luring him with the promise of infinite power. Anakin was born of the Force, and the prophecy was indeed correct, he was the chosen one. He brought balance to the Force in the end.

They have some sort of Samurai life without wifes or children so i am guessing here and there they need to have some fun and relax. I think that some of those Jedi knights bought prostitute services of Anakin's mother, but because she didn't wanted to talk about that with Qui Gon, the Obi One's master remembered a Jedi mythology and connected two and two. Anyway, he connected wrong.
