Jul 26, 2008 - The killings this time seem to be practised by so called peace loving tibetans.

Jul 26, 2008 - I'm a Vietnamese supporting free Tibet.
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,As a vietnamese yourself, how do you defined the china stop killings in tibet when this time the killings itself are done by tibetan themselves? The war already over since 1950's. Your country get invaded by China and thats it, you follow their league. There are more tibetans opposed such acts done by the exiled tibetans. You people have so much propagandas because china is still a communist nation. This has nothing to do with communism but dissatisfactions.
nhacquantu Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - @azn11001What you're hearing is what China government said. It doesn't allow foreign media to enter Lhasa to cover the incident. I don't know if you realize it or not but when ONLY China has the right to report, to me that means the info from Xinhua (China state run news agency) is biased.Have you ever question yourself why does China prevent foreign reporters from entering Lhasa or why did it black out CNN's coverage when broadcasting to China?I return the word "PROPAGANDAS" to China!
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,Regarding on freedom of press, china has a lot more to do. China prevent foreign reporters from entering Lhasa due to their safety concern. What if they do?Please have a look around the world, even myself as a chinese has nothing to do with the mainland. Look at malaysia (my nation), They even practising racist policy to discriminate non malays like us even this country does not belong to them.We have commotions, i can guaranteed you there is no death tolls.
nhacquantu Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - @azn11001Does blacking out CNN's broadcasting to China has anything to do with the safety of CNN's staffs?
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,Tibet belongs to tibetan once not for now and it'll always be part of china. None country in this world publicy acknowledged tibet was a self independent nation. In other words, china has to improve their relationship with tibetans. Before you return the word propagandas to china, please look at the tibetan monks and its people resorted violence. Cant they protest peacefully? So, dont blame china on freedom of press when tibetan themselves dont do their part.
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,"Does blacking out CNN's broadcasting to China has anything to do with the safety of CNN's staffs? "Regarding on this, China has been doing it since 1989 of the 15th anniversary of the bloody tiananmen crackdown. My personal opinion, i dont think china alone to be blamed. Do you think tibetans are doing the right things too?How can you be so sure Dalai Lama has no responsibility on these matter and pushed the blame on china alone? Where is the accountability?
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,I will still insist by my argument. China can return Tibet to tibetans. But before china has to do so, the world needs to do the same as well.Free AustraliaFree JapanFree America and CanadaFree SingaporeFree Malaysiaand so on..
nhacquantu Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - @azn11001Put yourself in the Tibetan's position before you judge their reactions. But that's hard to do because no foreign reporters are allowed in Tibet to report the what causes (the reasons) the violence. We only hear it from one side (China).Let us go back to 1989 when the Tiananmen Square Massacre happened. China treated its own Hans people with guns and tanks. Now, can we trust China saying it does not mistreat the Tibetan?
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,I am putting myself into Tibetan's position. As a tibetan themselves, i can understand how angry and depressed they are towards the chinese people but if they resorted to such violence in any nation including china, they are simply intolerable. It's your choice to trust China or not. Should you support free tibet because of some territories of vietnam invaded by chinese based on your political view? As i mentioned, not only china alone has to be blamed.
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,If Tibetans can held a protest peacefully, then our perceptions on tibetans might be different, and therefore i will support one china government, self ruled tibet.
azn11001 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nhacquantu,"Does blacking out CNN's broadcasting to China has anything to do with the safety of CNN's staffs? "If that's so, i will truly support china's cause of doing it. Do you know BBC, CNN, and Lou dobb's programme are famous american propaganda machine? Why provide information to them? Have a look on Iraq / Afghanistan war, the conspiracy behinds it.

Jul 26, 2008 - AP CHRISTOPHER BODEEN,China never required farmers to have one child. It is not a result of "resistance by ordinary Chinese against the one-child policy". The policy enjoys over-whelming support in China. There has been comprehensive US study on the policy. Obviously, the one child policy is hated by Westerners like you. However, the policy indeed enjoys over-whelming support in China. Talk in-depth with the Chinese people about this. Stop forcing your bigotry onto China.
