Jul 26, 2008 - This was written by BOB HILLIARD AND BURT BACHARACH and this version cannot touch the Elvis vocal gold.

Jul 26, 2008 - Wow, this is a sad and interesting song. What makes him think his lover is always on the brink of leaving him for someone else? Usually women have to worry about men doing that.

kattiehaze Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - This song reminds me of my grandma. She died after a long battle with cancer and if you listen to the words it really fits terminal illness. I don't think this is a song about a woman leaving by choice. Very sad, but a song that says something meaningful anyway.

Geist632 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - God bless your grandma and all of those she left behind Kat...

DKetch1966 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Reminds me of a girl from way back when..I could see us growing apart and although I wanted to accept it, my heart wouldn't let me, and I was still devestated when it happened. Songs like this make it a little easier.. Beautiful song, especially with the smooth vocalizations of Mr. Ronnie Milsap
