The time it takes is as realistic as possible, so on normal speed things are quite slow but I think this video is somewhat slower. This appears to be at normal speed - ordinarily playing on higher speeds is necessary.2) It's entirely standalone. You do NOT ned Pacific Storm and buying it is pointless if you can get Allies instead. It's like Doomsday for Hearts of Iron II - same game, but one has a lot more in it than the other.
