May 14, 2008 - The other guy is right. Emi is the american filialr of Capitol. The Beatles didn't know the Beach Boys man...they were teens who would listen to oldies and rock records, not some guys talking about californian girls and beaches (though they are great and they became greater thanks to Brian's geniouses)

May 14, 2008 - it's out-a-sight.. Dennis and Carl.... think this was a single in '67... Carl could rock... thanks for posting this... do the Beach Boys still tour without Carl.... how?

May 14, 2008 - Mike Love and Bruce Johnston still tour as The Beach Boys with a backing band (including John Cowsill) that covers many of the missing vocal parts.Brian Wilson currently tours with a 10-member band, and Al Jardine tours as the Endless Summer Band with his sons and other former members of the Beach Boys touring band. Al has also made several appearances with Brian and his band.

May 14, 2008 - I've seen Brian going it on his own, probably the only one that can. There's a youtube vid of him on Letterman doing 'Do it Again', even with Paul Schaffer's awesome collection of musicians it's a bit painful to watch. Can't imagine Mike and Bruce trying to pull off 'Darling', kind-a need Carl for that one. He left us much too soon.

May 14, 2008 - Cajohn54, in the summer 1983 my group Firefall opened for the Beach Boys at a time when Love had quit temporarily over something to do with playing Washington on the 4th of July. I'd heard them countless times live, and the best they ever sounded was WITHOUT Love. Foskett covered all the bass and lead vocals perfectly...and we didn't have to watch ML's ridiculous postering and posing all night.

May 14, 2008 - Superb live version. The vocals of Carl Wilson were amazing on this song. Dennis Wilson anchored the song with some amazing drumming.

May 14, 2008 - No way, I love this song and this is the 1st time I've ever seen it performed. What date was this?

Bullettube Says:

May 14, 2008 - Great vid, thanks for posting! The audio was surprisingly good considering it was live. When the BB were in their groove, they were fantastic! I saw them in Rochester that year and Brian was not at his best, but the concert was good anyway.

May 14, 2008 - Awesome. I'm glad I found this on YouTube. This is my favorite Beach Boys song and I just love the voice of Carl Wilson.

May 14, 2008 - Al Jardine is wearing the same hat that Bob Dylan wore in the mid 70's.

May 14, 2008 - Thank goodness we still have these videos to remember the Beach Boys and their wonderful music by. They were one of the best rock n roll bands ever.
