Jul 26, 2008 - Erm, Tolkien and Lewis are both children-fantasy-book writers... They aren't punks, but a great minds? Hah! Only in America.

Jul 26, 2008 - Odintaker, a comment like this one weakens the position of Atheists because you show such ignorance. The Lord of the Rings trilogy was NOT children's books. You only saw the movies. And of all the books written by Professor C.S. Lewis, only the Chronicles of Narnia were for children. Man, no wonder the Finns joined Germany in World War 2 and lost territory to the Russians! DUMB!
Odintaker Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Heh, well Finland's army killed about 300.000 russians when russians killed only about 50.000 finnish soldiers in Winter War. Consider that they had a lot more tanks and airplanes than our small country. Secondly, Russian tried to take our independence, but they failed. So heh, territory lost was a small price for that... So we didn't lose anything in WW2.

Jul 26, 2008 - Moot point to argue Odin. Just as the goal of scientific method is not certainty but theorum, you can just as much not "prove" in any conclusive way the opposite of something. Theists and atheists have this much in common- they're both religious. One Believes there is a god, the other Believes there isn't. Neither can prove his stance. He holds it by faith.

Jul 26, 2008 - I just love this song. I grew uo with this, so it brings me a lot of memories. Also, I think that when he says "I lost my faith in the holy church" he means the holly church as an institution (I think a los of christians have lost the faith in the church as institution but not in God). Well, that's the wa I take it =P

Dinosaurdiary Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Vinnie Colaiuta is the greatest drummer of all time.
JoboHimself Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I think Manu Katche is far more talented and precise...his drumming is emotionally as well technically stimulating. While I do not doubt Colaiuta's skill and respect him greatly (as I myself am a drummer), I think Katche adds a lot more to Sting's music. It is just personal preference, though.

Jul 26, 2008 - I have debated with atheists for many years, and the most they've achieved is say "Let's call it a tie". But I insist, you are nobody. Brilliant famous men like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien believed in God after dedicating decades to theology. C.S. Lewis was at one time a non-believer, but then he felt forced to change his mind. Would you say that C.S. Lewis was a punk? Go ahead!
