Aug 20, 2008 - Wow, does that bring back memories. I was a 13yr old kid in NYC and this song was real popular. I believe Chris Barber Band was a jazz band in the 50's. They were from Britain. Also, Lonnie Donegan was once a member of that band till he started his own Skiffle Band. Thanks for putting it up!

Aug 20, 2008 - Wonderful to here this great melody again. Monty Sunshine's interpratation of this song made me take up the clarinet as a child of 8. I went on to play jazz professionally and even stood in with Monty and his band in the late 1970's, as a teenager. Monty was just wonderful and couldn't have been more supportive.I really belive this is an all time great melody. Thanks Monty, Lonnie Donegan (who I believe accompanied him on guitar), and Sidney Bechet, for dreaming up such an inspiring tune.
