Jul 26, 2008 - you can make from 3-5 raw files ... and you can edit them in a single photomatix proccesed file , and you can play with all the settings you like , and then you can save it intr-o tif or any file you want and edit it after in photoshop

Jul 26, 2008 - Thanks. But i am wondering, how to make a hdr from only one raw file? I know, that you have to first set three different exposures, but do you save them as jpgs or tiff and then "generate hdr" in photomatix. Thanks for your time 417329.

Jul 26, 2008 - hi smeeh, these photos were usually from a raw file. with a single raw it holds a lot more info and then when you pull the exposure down by 2 stops in lightroom or what eversoftware you use it still has good detail. same when you make a 3rd copy increaseing the exposure up 2 stops. with a single raw just copy it 2 mroe times but change the exposre setting in lightroom and save as a tiff for most info being kept. then merge it in photomatix. but jpegs work as well just not as good

Jul 26, 2008 - convert a single raw into 3 images with different levels of light (usually lightroom is the best for that) then save as tiffs and merge in photomatix
