This may be the sweetest song ever recorded, meaning the guitar, the lyrics and the voice. It was great in "Frampton Comes Alive," but by golly, I believe it doesn't get any better than this. This is the actual audio recording from "Live In Detroit" but I illustrated it with photos of Peter Frampton from today as well as way back then. One of the amazing things about Frampton is his ability to put his heart and soul into a song he's played thousands of times, always different, and always beautiful. I guess his ever changing interpretation of the music is what keeps it fresh. He's a dynamic performer which is supported by the fact that his newest album "FINGERPRINTS" has just been nominated for grammys in two categories. Cheers, PF. I hope you all enjoy.

Jul 26, 2008 - The "vibe" from this song is pure seventies, all the money and technical ability can never replicate this, remember this when people take the "piss" about the seventies, there will never be a decade like it again!

Jul 26, 2008 - Why in the hell didn't this song get the airplay on FM Radio that the big three hits from this album did?I did not get a chance to listen to "Frampton Comes Alive" in its entirety until a few years ago. I missed out for a long time with this song.

Jul 26, 2008 - A song that really gets to the heart of all the losses we have to face. Sheer sorrow, but Frampton's guitar genius always spins forward to hope. Perfect.

Jul 26, 2008 - My first star-crush was Peter Frampton. I was about 13, and my sister kept playing Frampton Comes Alive. I actually got jealous when I read he had a wife or steady girlfriend or something...LOL! Then I got to see him in concert as such a young kid and it was like those girls who cried when the Beatles played. Love you Peter, saw you last year, you were so cool and I loved the joke about trying out a new song, and then you played, Baby I love your way....
