Nov 18, 2008 - I'd like to recommend power of three to jazz lovers, piano players, anyone who likes music!...it really is aweinspiring listening to michel's improvisations (not to mention jim hall and wayne shorter), and in his songs, the beautiful harmonies and melodies carried out only by piano and guitar (in some songs, saxophone) but yet always giving the sense that nothing's missing. Don't even take my word for it, check out the videos for careful, bimini, limbo, WALTZ NEW!! thank you ; )

Nov 18, 2008 - I have the C.D. "Power of Three". First saw Michel Petrucciani with Charles Lloyd at the 1983 Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Charles Lloyd is an all-time hero of mine. Still great. I was converted to Michel's style of playing at this festival. What great 'attack' in his style of playing, what power and bravery. Christ, but Michel is sorely missed.
