His friend heard Annabella singing Stevie Wonder music whilst she worked-and signed her fast! Perhaps Adam's musicianship was not of the same ilk as the rest of the band-or just purely a business move-female lead singers were new and different, hence a new sound. They were really so great! The pirate look came from Malcolm and Viv Westwood's boutique, SEX.
