sherbetfizz Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I'm 16 and MSF is my dream too. I'd love to be a surgeon and work for them long term. It upholds everything I believe in. Secular values, indiscriminate aid and indepedent of politics.

smellybridges Says:

rossao11 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - What an organization! They should have more international support, especially from the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund! These people are heroes!

Nov 18, 2008 - Im at my first year now :) 6 year left for me to become a doctor. To bad that MSF are not in Kurdistan and helping people there who were attacked with chemical weapons.

alioja10 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - do you need to be a doctor necerally to join them?

Saruzu Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No. The name is a bit misleading. They look for a lot of different fields from Microbiologist, virologists, sanitation experts and many more. Although, you DO need to have at least a few years experience in the field.

Saruzu Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes, I'm thinking of dedicating a few years to this after I graduate. That's still a long way off though.

tulin2000 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - surely the political aspect is just as important. To truly help these people, political structures need to change. That's why medecins du monde broke away, they bear witness to atrocities

kernowsam Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - politcial aspect is imprtant yes but so is emergency response. It is good that there are different organisations with differnet aims. MSF try to focuss on emergency work, saving lives immediately. Others on politcial solutions.AlsoMSF bear witness, they call it 'teimonage' and it is what seperates them from an organisation like the Red Cross.

BrendanIsCool Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - after medical school, i'm there.

sunshinemelissa Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Peace and blessings to you. How can I give clothes to the children?

lovehopecourage Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I love MSF! I was lucky enough to spend some time with a team in a Thailand refugee camp. I can say from first hand experience, they are a life-saving organisation providing care for people that otherwise would have no opportunities for health-care, food, water or sanitation. Long live MSF and thank-you to all donors.
