Aug 20, 2008 - You're partially correct in that the "Pull" is very great but that has to do with the strength of the pulling force exerted on the photons, it hasn't got anything to do with the speed of it. photons coming close to the pull gets pulled in because it is strong, not fast since it's always there, it's not traveling.
