Aug 20, 2008 - Democrats have not changed a bit. Can't drill here. Al Gore telling everyone to conserve, yet he has an electric bill of $10,000 and flies around the world on private jets. Obama said today that one way on saving gas is to make sure your tires are inflated properly. Wow.

Aug 20, 2008 - Politics is/are people lying and being immmoral, oh wait, this is the way of life of everyone.

Aug 20, 2008 - I don't think that most people get that this is satire.
tomdamho Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - well gore has to get around sum how to spread his message what is he suppose to walk to places....n obama tire thing is well known to help conserve gas ask any mechanic or driving instructor or even nascar any one and its not like it his entire energy policy
esb84 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Yeah, moron, conserving and using less does save energy. The Bush administration's energy official even acknowledged that you can save energy by inflating tires correctly, and as for Al Gore flying in private jets, he flies Southwest Airlines, my sister saw him on a flight to Nashville! Typical Republican bullshit, make up lies and engage in personal attacks about "liberal elites" because you can't dispute the facts, which happen to support what Gore and other humanitarians are fighting for!!
kgj08 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - So what are you going to do about getting people to inflate their tires? Pass legislation? That's like telling kids to listen to their parents to try to reduce drug use. Logistically, that is horrible policy.
esb84 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Its not even a policy, he mentioned it in one campaign speech. We should have been federally research for alternative fuel these last eight years in a major way, but then again we wouldn't want to take away from Halliburton and Exxon's billions in profits.
kgj08 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - What makes people think that oil companies operate as an oligopoly? What makes the oil industry different from any industry. Basically, liberals are just taking an industry they don't like and saying that things aren't changing because the other side doesn't want to reduce their profits. Well to that I say why don't we find alternatives to public schooling and alternatives to the mainstream liberal media. Why? Because unions fund Democrats' campaigns and the media helps win their campaigns.
esb84 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - What makes you think that oil companies care about anything but profits? Read a book or learn some history if you want to know anything about the oil industry. And you can find alternatives; its called sending your kids to private school on your own dollar, not mine. Im sure you can find an alternative to the fictional "mainstream liberal media" by listening to lying, draft dodging junkies like Rush; or maybe closet homo-fascists like Michael "savage" Weiner. Probably people very similar to you.
kgj08 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - You're a pretty angry person aren't you.
esb84 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Ha ha ha, no not at all. I just don't like liars and people who distort the truth. Im not angry at you however, you don't really have the slightest idea what the truth is, you just repeat what you've heard and been told.
bluejeans166 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - hahaha. So when you can't win a debate/spar, I guess it's just easier to call that person angry and be done with it. Hey Ostrich, get your head out of the sand.by the way, most americans keep their tires inflated perfectly fine so even if everyone (which will never happen) inflated their tires and kept on it, the effect would be minimal since most americans already do this
kgj08 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Which is exactly my point... it was such a stupid comment by Barack Obama. It just proves that he has this odd opposition towards any real, viable solution to our energy independence.
biglou250 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Energy independence eh? Build nuclear power and coal gasification plants (We do after all have the largest coal reserves in the world), open up offshore drilling, green energy (NOT corn ethanol >_>) We have the capability to reach energy independence if tree hugging liberals could step back and let it be done. If any politician thinks that inflating your vehicles tires properly will make a significant impact on reducing independence on foreign energy, their mental health needs to be evaluated.
biglou250 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Also, before I get a comment back of this nature: "Drilling and building power plants will take YEARS before we see any significant drop in energy prices, it is not an option."I say to you then, nuclear power and offshore drilling isn't a new "hot topic" in Congress. The debates have been going on for years and years. Wouldn't it have been nice if politicians would of approved legislation say...10 years ago when there WASN'T an energy crisis?!? Think we can wait another 10 years?

Aug 20, 2008 - Great clip. Sadly, we have two democrats running for president this year. the gun grabbing, pro global carbon tax, pro amnesty, big government, two-faced traitor John McCain is anything but a conservative.

Aug 20, 2008 - The fact that O'Connor(archie) is a liberal it must have hurt him to say that.
Marbles471 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Good God. This the late 1970s. It's scary how LITTLE the national conversation has budged in 30 years. I think the Reagan Revolution had a lot to do with that---its proponents essentially helped stall everything and keep delaying all of us having to face these problems. Well, as those who pay attention know, it looks like the time's coming when we're payin' for that delayin'...
