Aug 20, 2008 - in an overall highlightening, yess, pretty much the same pattern for large and small heads. The idea is to try to keep the edge of the foil as parallel to the scalp as possible. if the corners are further away than the middle, the roots will be longer on the sides of your section. By following the contours of the head. you get less roots.
