A marvelous piano piece by Red Garland. Tooken from Jazz Junction, by the Red Garland Trio, with John Coltrane & Donald Byrd, 15 Nov 1957. I had to cut off the track because of the length, but Coltrane and Byrd are also on it. You can still hear a little bit of Trane's playing in the track. But to me, it's about Red Garland, creating a very strong and emotional atmosphere for a ballad. The Red Garland Trio is:Red Garland (p)Art Taylor (dr)George Joyner (b)
