Jul 26, 2008 - This is fucking stupida. Its not called blue-jacking its called blue-snarfing, blue jacking is when you send a contact from your phone with the name of the contact as a message and it pops up on the persons screen like a free text message, blue-snarfing is when you take control of someones phone by bypassing the security.

sparkstwins Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - b. Its extremely doubtful that this is going to happen to you because the flaw was found in bluetooth versions 1, and 1.1, which now when you buy a phone after 2000, your going to have at least have bluetooth 1.2 making it impervious for someone to get into your phone. Theres really no way to access it with out a passkey.

sparkstwins Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - c. Its not called a "pocket Computer" Its called a Pocket Pc, and the one that the retard in the video is using isn't even a pocket pc, its a internet tablet with Linux on it, not palm OS(totally crap) or Windows mobile

Jul 26, 2008 - By the way if, you're wondering where the Bluetooth name originally came from, it named after a Danish Viking and King, Harald Blĺtand (translated as Bluetooth in English), who lived in the latter part of the 10th century. Harald Blĺtand united and controlled Denmark and Norway (hence the inspiration on the name: uniting devices through Bluetooth). He got his name from his very dark hair which was unusual for Vikings, Blĺtand means dark complexion. However a more popular, (but less likely

Jul 26, 2008 - reason), was that Old Harald had a inclination towards eating Blueberries , so much so his teeth became stained with the colour, leaving Harald with a rather unique set of molars. And you thought your teeth were bad...

masterexamen Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Thanks, I also recently learnt it was developed by Ericsson and Ericsson cell phone company is Scandinavian.

tauwilltriumph Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Yes, and one more thing. The Bluetooth logo is the runic initial of Harald.

k3bab Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - You shouldn't be able to do anything to another phone before the user has accepted the connection. Often both the hacker and the user are required to type in a password to connect.

bluarchie Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - yes you cannot just go into the phone. You have to except the pairing before anything can happen - bluetooth protocols.Just another load of hype to worry people. This programme is all fantasy

boobyman Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - If you have any experience hacking into bluetooth phones you wouldn't have posted that comment. In fact, the phone doesn't even have to be visible in order to get access info. Please do your research before posting a dumb statement.
