Aug 20, 2008 - I went to school with Allen in 1980-82. We studied dance together and hung out. He was a great and funny choreographer even then. He choreographed serious ballets for the female ballet dancers and innovative modern works for others including himself.He was a natural in the ballet pointe class. A really nice guy, funny and friendly. I am so happy that he continues to dance.
