Sep 4, 2008 - Es la primera que escucho al gran Erza, el que le dijo a T.S. Elliot que terminara su "Wast land" con Sanctis, Sanctis, Sanctis. gracias por subir este canto contra la usura del gran Ezra.

janusultor Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - The 'usura' here referred to is "interest", in the fiduciary sense. Pound lived with an invincible hatred of banking generally and Central Banking acutely. This poem represents the phantasms that attached themselves to his psyche like gargoyles as he gazed with unrelieved horror at the dark power of The Bank and its complicity in the restraint of human creativity and production of War. (a thing he saw only too closely) Banking isnt generally subject for Poesy; this is a rare and glorious example

Tropofobia Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Dead to usura

lamedwufnik Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Y Eliot lo terminó con "Shantih, shantih, shantih", "Paz que sobrepasa el entendimiento", que es como terminaba cualquier Upanisad.

KafkaCrow Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - He has the best voice ever.

KafkaCrow Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - I'm back watching this again because I love it. It's almost hypnotic . . . almost like a Buddhist mantra. Brilliant . . . I looked for him in Borders today and they had nothing by him!!

xxmonniieexx Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Usury kills all!

xxmonniieexx Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - The most hated sort (of wealth getting) and with the greatest reason, is usury, which makes a gain out of money itself and not from the natural object of it. For money was intended to be used in exhange but not to increase at interest. And this term interest (tokos), whichmeans the birth of money from money is applied to the breeding of money because the offspring resembles the parent.Wherefore of all modes of gettng wealth, this is the most unnatural- Aristotle

brychar66 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - With regard to the voice and delivery, I cannot help but wonder whether his friendship with Yeats ('Uncle Willie' as he calls him in Canto LXXXIII!) affected his accent. It is so exactly like the later Yeats as to be uncanny.

DBZmetaldude2 Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Great poem.Play this recording in syncronization with the piece 'A Beginning' by Ryan Stewart from the album Equanimity, they go so well together it's almost as if it was composed as a tone poem for Usura.Vrlo čudno 0_o

Haynombredisponible Says:

Thank thee, Pound

BinaryCurious Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - No wonder he was institutionalized. All enemies of the Central Banks are de facto enemies of the State.

europeoYsocial Says:

Sep 4, 2008 - Frente a la usura, el pueblo y su trabajo!

Sep 4, 2008 - The best! Il meglio!
