Sep 4, 2008 - Whats that thing at about 00:39?
rehac001 Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - the weapon is the MG-43, however the armor in :39 was and has not been produced or designed in real life
tigerii08 Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - It's actually a MG-42
URIZHEY Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - This is a upcoming game? o.o
tigerii08 Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - I think the guy in the front actually has a MG34. I know it's just a cartoon image but if you look real close you can see the round barrel jacket with the cooling holes cut in. The guy back left definitely is carrying a 42.
ashigaru Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - how come artilery operators wear armor
scdj Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - no, it was a student work/project
nyipnyop Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - they want to looks cool
imnothere Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - maybe due to high level of contamination on battlefield?
nyipnyop Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - yeah right, and the yuse gas mask for oxygen and water support due to their armor heavyness
djm1996 Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - it would make a hellah tight game
Cadbren Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - I've come across this before. It's supposed to be an MG-42 but the artists often show the older MG-34 as well. It's probably for variation without realising that they are manufactured differently and don't behave the same.
BenedictWolfe Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - They belong to the Panzer Jägers, who all wear that type of heavy armour in the Kerberos saga.
jolorulz Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - Aren't they japanese? I'm not familiar with this anime, but why are they wearing nazi insignias and ww2 era weapons?
BenedictWolfe Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - No; these are the Kerberos Panzer Jägers - The original German anti-tank force. I'm not sure how they and the Japanese Panzer Korps are related, though.
PanzerAngriff Says:
Sep 4, 2008 - Indeed. In numbers they reign. The T-34 was actually a great tank. Towards the later war, the construction quality really fell to shit, but it was not a bad design. Just that the later German tanks were much better than it.
