The themes Shakespeare used in his plays are universal.. revenge, betrayal. love, loyalty..And their expression through art cannot be credited to one particular group of people.. These themes have been used over over and over again in American Cinema. But no one says anything about hollywood copying shakespeare. OMG Imperialistic thinking carries the Curse of the Golden Flower.. Pay attention to the movie colonizing Europeans ,Greed,lust carries a curse..
