KOMO news, Nov. 14, 2007, World Diabetes Awareness Day, on YiRen Qigong treating type 2 diabetes.The pilot clinical trial is sponsored by NCCAM, Seattle Foundation and conducted at Bastyr University (http://www.bastyr.edu ). Bastyr University is currently enrolling study participants who are 18 to 65 years old suffering from Type 2 Diabetes. Participants must use diet or oral medications to control diabetes, not be taking insulin, and be able to maintain a consistent diet during the 12 week study. Ongoing YiRen qigong seminars as well as weekly classes are available through IQ&IAM (http://www.qigongseattle.org ) in Seattle, WA.
