Aug 20, 2008 - Shows/movies rarely follow the books they are based on.
LBF522 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - But would it be as interesting with Gaia in high school rather than an FBI agent?
nicehormones Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Wow, I've been reading Fearless for about 6 years and this show is nothing but a joke.. Even IF you hadn't read the books, it was just flat out terrible. No wonder it didn't even get to air its first episode...

Aug 20, 2008 - i dunno, i thought it wasn't that bad, and iv'e read all the fearless books. i hated it at the start, but then that dude in the car mentioned her escapades in New York, so i assume they're reffering to the events in the books. plus i thought it was funny how they kept putting in scenarios to show she's fearless, like that guy with his knife and her hand, her getting drowned, the phone thing where her voice doesn't spike and the gun to her head thing. lol, overdo it much?!?

xashxwasxherex Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - this looks really good. on wikipedia it said that the show didn't air coz they found that no matter how hard they tryed, no1 could really express the fearless state that was like what Gaia in the books had. i thought it was well done though after watching this...so i dunno
Herazon Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - IAN SOMERHALDER RULES!He's the only thing making the show watchable.
withviv Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - ok yea not as good as the books but admittedly its good
tuts333 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - okay its not that bad! but I think the WB did a horrible job making this.. I mean it would've been better if she were in high school and it went on than.. Well I can say I hope another station or network picks this storyline up!
kaichiGIRL Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - As a fan of the books I really didn't like that. The lack of tall, blonde teenage Gaia sorta freaked me out.

Aug 20, 2008 - the beginning basically sucked but it was okay in the end. it would be abit more interesting if she were in high school though, cuz this reminds me of veronica mars or medium or sumthin. i really wish they could continue and make it better tho. the books are awesome
GivenPeace13 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - As a fan of the books I was disapointed that there wasnt any blond teen gaia, I think that If she was still in high school (like the book)it would have been better. But all in all I would rate it 6 out of 10.
lefteye92tlcjfv Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - fighting for like a motion picture.
LadyxMisao Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - You know, I think if they had started with a tall, teen, fairy-tale blonde Gaia, from back in high school, they would have been able to capture more of the Fearless state that Gaia has that this show lacked.
Herazon Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - I agree with you 100%.
kapy1987 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - ive neva read the books so 2 me this was gd and shud av been aired
dustd29 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - I dug it.The only criticisms I see are physical ones. Those don't matter. What about the acting? the plot?
lovinghero Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - This is good! I actually like it although it is different from the books. Heck, even Gossip Girl doesn't follow the books.
Raynex2 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - Even though it didnt follow the original storyline almost at all, it did have a great first episode soundtrack.
magannaidh Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - I think her acting is good, she just doesn't look it. Yeah, she doesn't show much emotion, but the point of Gaia was that she didn't. She kept herself closed off and always wanted to make it seem she didn't care. I think Cook did a great job of portraying that.
magannaidh Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - I also would have preferred the high school Gaia because it was about something much different. It wasn't just about her being fearless and in the FBI/CIA (shows we have TOO much of). It was really about a girl growing up and finding out who she was based on all events of her past and how she desperately wanted fear to be normal and to care about people without putting them in danger. The books storyline was more complicated and would have made a much more original storyline than this.
dogsnbears Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - This show was okay but it didn't have a whole lot to do with the books. Following the books would have been a whole lot better.
