Aug 20, 2008 - I am a dentist and I balance body chemistry for dental health reasons. Sometimes thyroid problems are associated with an under active anterior pituitary. Page only used natural thyroid and he balanced the anterior pituitary gland first if it is needed. Thyroid is added last and sometimes it is not needed. R.F.

Aug 20, 2008 - I have hypothyroidism but my condition is quite rare as i have been told. I have the gland but its as if i dont have it as it does not work atall. I have to take 1 tiny tablet for the rest of my life and if i dont then i can get seriously, seriously ill. This has been with me for all my life and i feel i am underwaight because of this.

Aug 20, 2008 - I have been on syncrap (synthroid) for 10 years and I have always had cold hands. I am disappointed with our health system. My general doctor and my endocrinalogist kept saying my hormones were optimized despite my long long list of hypo . Both did the general test like checking my TSH and T4 and T3 blood work. They said it was all in my head because blood work was normal. Until I found a holistic doc who thought to check my Reverse T3, and my FREE T4, 3's. my body was not converting.
