Jul 26, 2008 - My MBpro wasn't that expensive. It's a software thang. Final Cut Studio includes "Motion", there is nothing comparable out there for Windows. The MBpro ist pretty fast, I'm rendering HD vids on that machine.Windows can handle 3GB of RAM, an 8 core MacPro goes up to 32GB.But on the other side: there is nothing like Steinberg Wavelab available for the Mac. OK, there is Bias Peak, but it can't mess with Wavelab.

You can render HD vids on Mac 'cause Mac was designed for that config, and that's a pro for Mac users.Win is a performance loser because it is designed to run with every decent config.
