Ralph Nader talks to Amy Goodman on Democracy Now about Obama and Clinton, and even McCain."Hillary is a corporate Democrat"something we don't need.I'll vote Obama and HOPE for his best side.if Obama stays true to his roots we will be better, if not it's more of the same...shame John Edwards dropped out, real shame the corporate media didn't give him the chance and really took the presidential nomination out of his reach.Great commentary on what the U.S. needs.A MUST WATCH.thanks to DemocracyNow.orgIf Obama turns conservative/corporate democrat 'ala" Clinton we'll vote for Nader AGAIN.

Jul 26, 2008 - What about democracy Amy Goodman? taking votes away? How democratic is it to vote for lesser of evils to take my choice away from me as i would never vote for either of the two corporate candidates. I deserve the right democratically to vote my conscience. not to be forced to choose between corporate or corporate!

Jul 26, 2008 - Ralph sounds like a reasonable, sensible, educated, substantial guy to me. Why do I let the media tell me what I think of him?
TheNiceGuy87 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Ralph Nader is helping McCain! He should stay out! If McCain wins we're so screwed!!!!!

Jul 26, 2008 - TheNiceGuy87:Don't worry, with Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin in the race, more votes are going to get stolen from McCain by them than Obama votes stolen by Nader this time.We NEED all these third party candidates in there to demonstrate that Obama and McCain are BOTH part of the corrupt political machine. If you want change, vote 3rd Party. You're NOT going to get it from Obama and McCain.
taoistcowboy123 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Ralph is the man and not a 2 Party Puppet!!! Keep on keeping on...
VariedInterest Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - This guy in office is like a beautiful dream, haha. Most runners get so caught up in getting elected, are so much more concerned with the idea of being president, that they let it take precedent over their own honesty and accountability to the issues. Nader is not a politician, he is a philosopher, and that is what needs to have influence in government more than anything. America is very confused.
Vote3rdParty Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - why in the world would you include a fascist like Paul in that bunch?
BillyVillain Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Nader will go down in history as one of our countries greatest patriots.
shanebarrow1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - How in the hell is Paul a "facsist". You must not know anything about RON Paul, one of only 4 members in the house to vote against the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The person who constantly votes against corporate welfare, military bases, etc. The only person running for President that wants to end the federal reserve. educate yourself before you speak.
shanebarrow1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - WHy do Americans keep voting for the same two parties and yet keep expecting change? THe definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Election after election Americans keep voting for these NEW WORLD ORDER hacks that the media throws out in front of us without even considering someone like nader, or paul, or barr, etc. Watch the MATRIX and youll understand that americans are trapped in it lol!

Jul 26, 2008 - Get Ralph on Larry King Live! Send your viewers choice request to larrykingguests@cnn(DOT)com If enough people request Nader, the likelihood of him appearing will be high. Perhaps we could also persuade the LKL produces to host an unofficial one-on-one debate between Ralph and one of the major candidates or an advisor for one of the campaigns. All it takes is a few seconds of your time. What have you got to lose? Even if you find the debate idea to be unrealistic, it doesn't hurt to try.
PersonalFoul42 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Nader is great, but a vote for him is a waste...so don't waste it. Vote for McCain instead....that way your taxes won't increase...
RonPaulRevolution4u Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - shanebarrow1:Yes, in order to get REAL change, it will take the emergence of, not only a viable new Party(s), but FIRSTLY, the emergence of new less biased media outlets that can compete toe to toe with the corporate controlled, government shill, mainstream media ones that give Americans their news now. Obviously entities like "Break the Matrix" and "The Real News", etc. are new internet driven upstarts trying to break the mainstream's hegemony, but there is a HIGH mountain still to climb.
shanebarrow1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Your joking right?
italianmafia23 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I don't understand why people talk of candidates as being a waste of a vote just because they are down in the polls. That's absolute, utter nonsense. Are you hedging bets on your candidate or what? Would your pride take a hit by not betting on the winning horse? Give me a break. This is precisely the problem with America. A vote for democracy is NEVER a wasted vote. I don't care if I was the only supporter of a given candidate -- if I knew I voted for who is right, I'd never, ever regret it.
lalaborat Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - We seriously need to change our system to realistically allow for more than a two party system. So people won't be "afraid of losing their vote" to third parties
kerketj Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Yeah!! and that way voting for McCain I won't be able to see my brother in the next 100 years because he is in IRAQ and a posibility that I will never see him if he dies in war like his close friend (22 years old) did 4 months ago.
dwmpbird Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Brilliant- would love to see him harang any of those monkey politicians- he has more intelect and humility than all of them.PLUS a wasted vote is one you don't believe in. Vote Nader!!! What a great paradigm change that would make possibly world wide.
