Aug 20, 2008 - I just noticed a crew member gets into the shot before the second verse. I've only seen this a million times, how come I missed it before?

Aug 20, 2008 - You're right! I never noticed that either. Remember that these were intended to be shown on curved TV screens where things like that wouldn't show. I've noticed little goofs at the corners of many EC sequences. On some of the siluette sequences, you can see the trimmed edges at the back of the heads.

Aug 20, 2008 - TV screens were never so curved that something on the edge screen could not be seen by someone looking directly at the screen.

NantoVision Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - That is incorrect. Computer monitors and newer TV screens show much more of the edges of the frame than TV screens made in the 1970s.

Aug 20, 2008 - Yes but that stuff is supposed to fall outside the visible screen called overscan. Thats so the image looked flat on the screen vs too fat or too tall. There are zones in the video where you have to include what you want seen because of that. Too bad Rita never yelled at him: HEY, YOU GUY!! GET OUT OF THE SHOT!! LOL

Aug 20, 2008 - Lee obviously didn't know that s' is appropiate for group ownership and after a word ending with s. For example: "Chris' pie." and "barbers' school."
