This is Part 1 of 6 (it was a 14 hour day for these great young men and women) of my youngest son, Samuel's High School JROTC Drill Team Competition. The compettion was held at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro Tennessee in April of 2004. Sam was 16 at the time of this competition. All the "kids" that competed that day were just a great group of young folks. THESE are the examples we should think of...Sam is Carrying the American Flag in the Color Guard Competition and calling the commands.

MacMan282 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - They're pretty tight. But I don't understand the "league" this is. Is it with school? Or cadets or some kind of special school where they teach military stuff too? good job, i'd be psyched out by the guys walking around in combats with the warden looking hat. haha

deatmaster1909 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - the color guard needs to keep heals together, and they need to snap their head when there given eyes right

KMBazzi Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - OMG, I was looking up The Devils, too! lol Trying to relive the glory years. lol Oh well. This team needs to learn the meaning of dress right dress, though, they were all over the place at times. Major G. would be turning in his grave if what you say is true about them not being as good. At least I got the chance to make Master Sgt. under his command. (This is the wife of this joint account, by the way. LOL) Good times those were, the best choice I ever made. :-)
