Having realised its not there he instantly adjusts to the correct volume (on top of his guitar) and enters into the classic Wichita Lineman solo... A class act in every sense.

Although maybe not the creator, thanks Jimmy Webb, Glen Campbell was, and according to this clip, is still the singer of the song. And, when I'm 70, if live that long, I hope I look and sound as good as Mr Campbell. Definitely a living legend.

Aug 20, 2008 - Compare this to the 1st time 40 some years ago...jesus...a voice from heaven. Even pros would be in awe, listening with their mouths hanging open. Singing in the same key, even better. He is truly up there with the all time greats...he deserves all the superlatives in any language that heaven allows...all the awards. Hearing the song even after 40 years can still be intense.
