Jul 26, 2008 - you dont require embalming by law at all in the uk unless you are being trainsported abroad but we advise that you get embalmed.
Robkat3751 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Mattjasy is friggen lying. The requirements for embalming are different from state to state. geenrally if a body is held for over a specified time it is required. Some states do not require embalming if cremation is the fianl disposition
whiteshirtsleeves Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - You have read out of contest what 'friggin Mattjasy' was saying if a person is being cremated they can still be embalmed for viewing if the family has no objectiosn against it, inmost cases if the family are viewing 95% are for embalming. Read correctly before you jump on me arse!!
Robkat3751 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Whiteshirtsleeves First I did not say Friggen Mattjasy. I said Friggen Lying. Next the correct word is "Context" Not contest there is a big difference there as well. Also no word was taken out of context. To refresh your memory here is his direct statement "You still require embalming even if you get cremated" Sounds very direct to me .
Sail0644 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I am a licensed funeral director. Embalming is NOT required for any disposition. Know the laws before you post
mattjasy Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I did not day it is required by 'LAW', the point I was getting at is that you can still be embalmed if you are getting cremated, especially if there is a viewing or a take home before the funeral. I am studying with the NAFD, BIFD and BIOE. Funcking end of!!!!

Jul 26, 2008 - When my grandfather died I snuck in the back of the mortuary and saw the embalming machines. It was in the same room as the refridgerator! (Really old place).
AkkordionBloke Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - No. It only severely deters the process of decay.
AkkordionBloke Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Sure. :-)

Jul 26, 2008 - great show and the intro music was awesome lol
Robkat3751 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - No it does not. It starts putrifying in weeks. Embalming is a way to extract money from the still alive family. It does preserve the body long enough for a funeral/viewing. And who in the hell wants to see their loved ones dead, embalmed or not. Remember them as they were when they were alive.
3DaySonRise Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Depending on the skill of the embalmer, a corpse may very well be preserved for far longer... perhaps even decades. A video of mine, will show you a photo of a three year old girl, who passed in 1920. Her photo was taken, after her body was exhumed, in 1995. The video is posted on YouTube, and is listed under, "Death, a new beginning."
joemo75 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - More than half of this video is a lame intro with bad music.

Jul 26, 2008 - The only thing that lasts forever is silicone...so Anna Nicole's boobs will be there forever. LAUGH :)I am SO being cremated. Dang!
ofiesucks Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - you are a piece of shit for laughing at anna nicole. i wonder how many will joke when you die.
yesjaide Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Would you have preferred that I said Joan Rivers' face will be there forever? Don't worry, I'll joke when YOU die too. Mainly about your lack of sense of humor.
ofiesucks Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - my sense of humor is intact. yours on the otherhand is dry and questionable. you piece of shit. clever, telling me that you'll laugh when i die - you sound like a little kid who doesn't know what else to say but "back to you". get your thumb out of your ass and get some brains, you ding dong.
pawbearer Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Hey jack ass, your holding a aspirator, used to suck all the fluid out of the body cavity....
andtheworldcried Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - They don't show it because it's illegal to do so. I worked in a funeral home and wasn't allowed to watch or really even know all that much
kebekdisk Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - If you love life, come to see my videos talking about CRYONICS.Why don't take a chance ?Another choice are possible ...Have a good day !
ibrym Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Hey derail14 instead talking some much shit, why don't you go to a mortuary college and watch the embaming process. Then maybe you can speak about something w/ knowledge instead of the fuck up shit that comes out mouth.
grafs707 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - every state has there own laws, in NY you have to be in the mortuary program in order to be allowed to witness an embalming. if you are just an employee of the funeral home (ie, attendants can not watch the process. i find it funny tho that you can watch an autopsy on here though
cali4niakid04 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - no, Embal ming is NOT required if you are to be cremated, at least not in california
