Ie; paddle behind the wave (towards the whitewater) instead of in-front of the shoulder when someone is on the wave you should be fine. The point(most south) is stand up mostly. Middles (middle, hehe) is Fair ground except for in the summer. And, Gravels (North most break) is usualy spongers due to the fact that surfers don't want to break their boards on the crazy-ass shore break.
