Mullahgrrl Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Hey, thats Rowan Atkinson!

AntiDark777 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - four comedy legends on the one skitnothing funnier

contemplativegirl21 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Bahahaha! This is freaking hysterical.LOL, John! "Right. I use to get up in the morning at half-past ten at night, half an hour before I went to bed..."HAHAHAHA! This has become one of my favorite skits. Classic.

barrettpj62 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - I watched a documentary about Marty Feldman this week and it was mentioned (by Michael Palin) that this was not an original Python sketch. It first apprared on a pre-Python show on ITV called 'At Last The 1948 Show'. The original cast were Tim Brooke-Taylor, Marty feldman, John Cleese and Graham Chapman. Tim B-T claimed that he and Feldman originally wrote the sketch and Cleese and Chapman "didn't ruin it". The original sketch is also on YouTube. Whatever the origins it is a great sketch.

CF1975 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Wasn't the original Pyton version of this sketch with Eric Idle and Graham Chapman instead of Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese?

Chiliarches Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - The other version's much better...this is too drawn out. Lethargic, almost.

frooboochick Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - some of my friends and i did this sketch for a talent show in middle school. brillience.

HeeroYuy911 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - This is a great skech but i would rather the classic without rowan atkinson in, he is good comic but just don't seem right in this.

Pamathey Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - I like the one with Eddie Izzard, too. Nice tribute. We would've DREAMED of living in a corridor...haha. Men. Always having to one-up each other ... even if it's about how bad things were. ;)

KapernicusI Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Yeah, strange that.

creepywonder Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Great! super! I love these guys!!

MrDefaulto Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Yeah, cleese went a bit too far at the end... singing hallelujah? Terry Jones thought it was funny though!

Chiliarches Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - That was actually said in the other version of the sketch, it's just so mumbled you don't hear it unless you know it's there...

swingindoorspro Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Is this version from a python stage show os one of the secret policemens balls

mitchboyd5554 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - wow how could you think the other version is funnier? personal preference i guess. no sense of humor probably

Chiliarches Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Which version? Not the 1948 one--the one called "Monty Python - Four Yorkshiremen." The timing is much better, I'd say...

mitchboyd5554 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - hm, that one is pretty good, but im partial to this one. that one is just the version with accents that americans can understand. Also cleese is funnier and has better timing than Idle, sorry. Like rowan better too. And palin is funnier in this version too, i mean cmon.

TicoTorres Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - this version is the absolute greatest! it's hilarious!!!

randallcaster Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Took me quite awhile to find this, as it'd been 30 years since I'd heard it, and didn't know what it was called. Had to use intuition.Great clip.

pclanc Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Anyone who says this version is best is a total numbnut. The best version is The Final Rip Off, but the other YouTube version is way better. Cleese is good, and Rowan okay, but Chapman was and will forever be the best of the Pythons. He was so funny.

pclanc Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - The other version on YouTube is so much more polished, the timing exquisite, the accents dead on. Never ceases to amaze me at how many people have no fucking taste.

8080256256 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - I love the way Jones is corpsing during Cleeses final monologue.

KnightOfTirawley Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - We were evicted from our 'ole in the ground

Markvdl25 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - the look between Cleese and Jones at ' end is priceless

fullfist Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - i don't like this version. the timing and the pace seems off compared to the other version.they seem mad, rather than just braging over the top
