Oct 10, 2008 - Although the intro says this was shown on TV in the 80s it was recorded in England and first shown in 1964. It's probably difficult for young people - who have been brought up with rock'n'roll - to understand the impact someone like Little Richard had on us all. He was like no one who had gone before. I saw him live 4 times and he ripped the theaters apart, paticularly the Saville London in 1966. unfortunately he deteriorated in later life when he turned his act into a camp parody.
