Oct 10, 2008 - I really hate school because I was forced to sit and study the anatomy of an earthworm, art, poetry, and other things I can do in my own time if I wanted to. They don't even let us talk about the war in Iraq. Also, I had teachers who would put me down telling me that I will never succeed they would spit their opinions at me as facts.Do you think I will get hired at a job if I graduate from a continuation high school? please write back.

Oct 10, 2008 - I've been interested in becoming a business owner and I have a question for you: Where do I start? Am I required to go to college? If so, what kind?

Oct 10, 2008 - I think that's pretty clearly acknowledged. Although, in my defense, when I made this video several years ago all Karl Fisch had was a powerpoint. I wanted something more free standing so I made the movie.

Oct 10, 2008 - Interesting video. I agree that our classrooms need a drastic makeover in order to, not only be able to compete with other countries that are progressing much faster than us, but also in order to continue with the amazing advances we have made within the past couple decades. Nice job.

Oct 10, 2008 - Great video. I've often thought that these days kids don't need to learn how to add since they have calculators at school. They don't need to learn spelling/grammar since they have computers at school with spelling and grammar checkers. If they don't need to learn then they probably won't. I've been out of the education system for a long time now so maybe I'm off the mark with this. But I don't think so.

Oct 10, 2008 - I believe nothing will change until higher education is more affordable & our educators are better compensated (as they should be!). What's your opinion on Obama's proposal for the American Opportunity Tax Credit?

Oct 10, 2008 - It's troubling that with all the technology we have; foreigners seem to be taking over America. We have the resources to better ourselves for the future but we don't utilize them. We use technology for our personal entertainment instead of using it for a way to better our outcomes in life. It's almost as if we are moving forward in time but at the same time remaining frozen where education and advancement is concerned.

davidatod Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - a bit fuuny

caliandris Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - You're asking the wrong question. It isn't whether we are teaching the right stuff, but whether people need teaching at all. In an information rich society, maybe they do better if they are allowed to learn for themselves, the way most people learn how to use a computer or a mobile phone

Copendia Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - i think higher education must be more efficient in future. that means quick learn sessions for low prices.
