It turned out that the first Cuban missile crises too was heavily provoked!On one hand US terrorized and threated Cuba with intervention, etc, BUT what is less known: a year earlier US deployed middle range ballistic nukes in TURKEY! Which posed a very significant and similar threat to Russians! The peace deal included the disarmament of those too! But the western public didn't know shit about that cause then it would have looked like a fair deal (which it was!)
