Aug 20, 2008 - Warren is the state of the art guitar in SouthernRock/Jam genre. But nobody ever mentions his vocal. His voice alone is amazing but then layer in the pickin and you got a very special musician. Also he can shred with the best but always just plays to the song...that is musicianship that many flash guitarists need to learn.

Aug 20, 2008 - It's not Porter on this video. Porter was just the fill-in bassist from time to time until Andy Hess got the permanent slot. Hess is playing in this vid.

Aug 20, 2008 - on the deepest end album itself there was a number of guest bass players and Stephan Lessard from the Dave Matthews Band played this song.

Aug 20, 2008 - I've been playing and listening to music for 40 years, and I have NEVER seen anybody comparable to the one and only Mr. Warren Haynes as a guitarist/vocalist/songwriter.
bziegs23 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - He is an absolute genius. Humble and hardworking, how could you not absolutely love what he does? The greatest thing out there right now keeping it alive for all those who truly love and appreciate music without being jaded by corporate and radio bullshit! Long live the Mule and Warren!!!

Aug 20, 2008 - His voice brings tears to my eyes, and his guitar playing is beyond reproach. Ran into him (literally) behind the venue after a show in KC in 2001 and he stopped, talked with me and several other fans for about 20 minutes, signed autographs, and was the most genuine human being I have ever encountered.

Aug 20, 2008 - This is about the woman that we all have (hopefully) met. I met her in 1981 in Johnson City, Tn. She left me in a grove of tall weeds at the Down Home Bluegrass Festival.I see her all the time... in glimpses..at the Wal Mart.. on the street... like an angel...maybe in the afterlife... she's like the morning fog..there but not there...speak the truth....you have your own version...
