Nov 20, 2008 - I see no proof of anything. I think the message we should recieve from his mother should be that we are all to be like his mother and give birth to Christ within ourselves. Just as Jesus was fully formed within her womb physically, Spititually Christ be fully formed within our heart or spirit we like Mary all should bring him forth into the world.

Obviously to reveal HIMSELF phsyically to them in order for them to believe in HIM,and ultimately,obtain salvation through HIM.Now in the case of catholics and apparitions of Mary,what is the purpose?As CHRISTIANS,we already(or should)know about end times,and the need to pray without ceasing,lest the evil one distroys us.GOD never said HE would send Mary,as a messenger!!!!

The world has apostasized and the God is sending His Holy Spirit to renew His creation. Our Lady's appearences in Medjugorje and elsewhere are part of God's 'rescue plan'. Medjugorje is a place where people RETURN TO GOD, having lost their faith either partly or totally in our increasingly secular world.

Other Christian denominations do not share in this truth. Yes MAry loves all her children but uses those who are most receptive to her and her messages, unconditionally.

According to Wikipedia, she appeared in Zeitoun, Egypt in 1968 to Copts, Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Jews, Muslims and others over a 2-3-year period, several times a week, was photographed and televised. The sick and the blind are said to have been cured, and many people converted to Christianity as a result. It's said that she and St. Joseph lived near there with Jesus during their stay in Egypt.
