Aug 20, 2008 - Well you could guess it is lool with all the bloody rules that you hate driving , theres the rules that you love when flying , and plus the skie is bigger than the roads so all this traffic is bad for polution

Thesir01 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - ok..i got three questions..hope youall dont think they are stupid:1.) is ther a pilot in training in this vid?2.) who is and why is there a cameraman?

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - no pilot in training, I was riding along and taking video for fun. They are a part 91 operation if you are familliar with the FAR's. Whats the third question?

Thesir01 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - thanks for answering...the last question was two questions..srry..

Cook1993 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - what airline is this?

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Its not an airline. Its the oil company's private part 91 operation.

Cook1993 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - LOL cool!

joaoxuh Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - 737-200 have FMC? ;p

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - lol. yes it is a real airplane afterall

obamaspeeches Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - at 2:30..he's at 2000ft and 350knots...is that allowed..??

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - the speed at 2:30 is 157kts and 2000ft. The airspeed is to the left of the attitude indicator. (the green number)

g33ky898 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - are u a vistor or someone in charge for the airplane

gilipichiairways Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - i bet that FMS wasnt there when this plane first came out of the factory :P

ErickC Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Actually, a lot of later -200Adv models came with SP177 autopilots and FMS installed out of the factory. By the early 1980s it was standard.

gilipichiairways Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - were they early model FMS or INS like in the 1011?btw,,are u erick cantu? plane maker for fs? if u are..great 727!!!hope you make some airbuses one day!cheers

objordal Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - The 737-200.. or older 737's in general, didn't come with a INS. At the time the 737-200 was produced, the INS was quite expensive a piece. If some 732's flew with it, there weren't many of them, and maybe only some of the airlines with the best economics operated them..

timsimmk Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - What's making the trims spin like that?

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - there is an electric switch on the yoke. he is trimming it with his thumb.

timsimmk Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Why does he need to trim when he is flying manually?

alaskanpilotsdotcom Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - trim relieves your arms from having to do lots of work. you use trim even more while your flying manually to offset the forces of the elevator.

kinsley2108 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - ya, i noticed they use that switch alot, would suck if it wasn't on the yoke

kinsley2108 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - guess you were looking at the red and white needle, thats the overspeed warning thingy.

yohan01 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Try Cessna 150 ^_^
