Aug 20, 2008 - really? Is it because with (decent) gear like Team Ops, it's really hard to cheat? I mean I watch paintball videos and seems like about half of them are about people cheating (wiping). Or is it distance? 500+ feet to much of a difficulty? At least with Laser Tag Teams Ops, when you are hit, it counts and no wiping allowed! Cheating is soooo uncommong with outdoor laser tag (and good gear)... Perhaps you've never used good gear!?

Aug 20, 2008 - We play this at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - It's street legal, but we let the police know beforehand anyway. It's great as long as there is plenty of cover around, so our battlefield is around, on, and under the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. There are hiding spots everywhere, and running up and down from the parking sublevels to the top of the building is great cardio.

Perhaps you tried some professional gear ($700 and up per tagger) and can honestly comment you opinion!? -- done both and I know those that think "ONE" hit with the paintball is harsh and is why they "wipe" ... with good laser tag equipment, you can setup howmany .. 1 or 50 or whatever?LT is in most respect superiour to BP!

Aug 20, 2008 - yeah this is better than most other forms of live shooting other people kind of stuff, but it depends on you intrest and income, this is great for kids cause they can play anywere at any time with little up keep, compared to paint ball or air soft which require more gear and constant up keep with ammo and gas, and find a safe place to play, but it has a more realistic feel too it . . . i like to play air soft but i almost got aressted before so im thinking about laser tag

Aug 20, 2008 - if u almost got arrested paint the tip of ur gun orange(if its not already) and if they tell u to stop then stop "for that day". they cant and wont arrest u if u tell them that its airsoft and ur parents gave u permission. {i like airsoft to its fun}.
