vitruviancat Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - more like 10 years. Hendrix is late 60's, EVH started late 70's.
blendifier Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I love both of these artists also, but i honestly believe that while page is certainly a great artist, He isn't of the same calibre of Jimi hendrix, solos or not, and consider that while Jimmy page had A crew of some of the greatest muscicians backing him, jimi hendrix had only noel redding and mitch mitchells, nowhere near the skill of zeppelins bassist or drummer.
isuru9 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - that was epic
knoxrox167 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - i agree with every word of that...they are both gods of guitar.
Shimiz Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Im feelin Hendrix more than Page.. Hendrix just has alot more soul in his songs.. Page is kinda dry. But still good at the same time, no doubt about that...
Shimiz Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - "LOL! Im white, but everyone should really be thankful. Where did jazz came from? blacks...and if it wasn't for that then we wouldnt have rock n roll" -aequitas18Blacks also originated Gospel, and Rhytm and Blues (rock came out of those), and the first Rock song that was created was Rocket 88, by Ike Turner, a black person.. And there were alot of black people rocking long before that.. Like Jimmy Preston, Fats Domino, and a few others for instance.. So I don't know man..
sprokow Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - too much acting and really overindulging
PQleyR Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I think that of the two, Hendrix was the best at expressing the inexpressible with his playing, while Page took guitar-based music places it had never been before (and don't forget that he was massively influential as a producer too).
PQleyR Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Just to clarify my meaning, I think they're both amazing!
FlaskeKladden Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - This is THE best song ever I think :-)

irideROMEnow Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Im thinking about playing guitar, and personally I think his musics are epic, but what is it that separates him from any other musicians from the at the time of his fame. Maybe its the fact that I dont know how to play guitar yet, but can someoen clarify that for me? is it the fact that he can play with his teeth? what made him earn the title as a legendary guitar player??? I would really appreciate it if someone answered that for me. without being philippic.
saposlipknot Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Not teeth.. TONGUE my friend!
jordno Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - nope even if he didnt play with teeth/tongue he still be a legend he changed the way the guitar sounds and could be played if you learn guitar you relise more than if you havnt, hes influenced every guitar player today practicaly even if it the smallest thing. There are those that dont think he deserves to be known as the greatest but he probaly influenced the guitar player they think is greatest its hard to explain how he is a legend really i think, he is for so many reasons really
I7arkSideofTheMoon Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Many players can play with their teeth or trick play. the reason he is so famous is because he was such a different guitarist for his time. He was so innovative in his playing. Because of that, there is not one good player on this earth that isn't influenced by him. Sure many could probably play like him now, but they would never be able to if he didn't exist. Like Eddie van halen brought us tapping and pinch harmonics. Hendrix brought us experimentation.
anselandamber Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - check out my vids
DSnorway Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Jimi is leagendary, no one will play like him or at his level even if they play just the same, because their not Hendrix.
rattusfinlandia Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - jimi hendrix é o maior de todos os tempos...viva a hendrix!!!!
RCTVES Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Jimi , hello in were you are!!! , you was the best of the era.!!!
beliasso Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - For music yes but for politics and human rights I think martin luthor king did more. Hendrix's goal was to develop music and bring it out to everybody, and I think he also succeeded (I'm a Hendrix fan since 25 years)!
soliddragon34 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - hendrix is god ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
