bangoopong Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - His style is more close to mongolian/korean technique. Notice, he always goes for grab than slap.
itcfan Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - the best!sometimes great sportsmen like him come along once every couple hundred years - chiyonofuji was a phenomenon! - great wrestler, with superb technique and self-controlled with his emotions - delighted countless foreign fans of the sport like myself - one of japan's greatest ambassadors!

Oct 6, 2008 - What an absolute legend. Very skilful player. He seems quite muscular in the arms and shoulders as opposed to just fat - probably why he was able to be quite speedy.

Oct 6, 2008 - This was sumo at its goldenage... Chiyonofuji is still legendary and in my mind he'll never be surpassed. Great video!
boflex03 Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - He was very lean for a sumo. Great strength.
kaierlend Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - I see clearly a diffrence between Chiyonofuji and the other fat Sumo's. He got muscles and less fat that makes him stronger and faster and more flexible the others are just fat and can barly move their body
FOOFORLIFE Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - Your exactly right he had more muscle and also had more cardio so he could exert force longer than his not so fit competitors.
JLascek Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - Cardio has nothing to do with exerting force longer.
geno2k3 Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - Looks like he took steroids...
juris0fnuts Says:
Oct 6, 2008 - I watched him for years, he has so much skill, he is not just push, push, and slap like the big guys from Hawaii like Konoshiki. He is such a natural at the sport, and what a great contributor to the sport. He is not on steroids geno2k3, some are like this build, its the guys from other areas other than japan that are really big like konoshiki, akibono, musashimoro.
eselous Says:
